COLOR.LOVE is a force of nature, a whirlwind of artistic expression who seamlessly blends the roles of DJ, producer, and live performance artist, with releases on Desert Hearts, Dirtybird, Glasgow Underground, Space Yacht, Spira, Strangelove, among others.

Driven by a desire to create a more immersive experience, during COVID, she developed her live show which incorporates a Roland TR8 drum machine, an RC505 Looper, and a vocal effects processor. This innovative approach allows her to create a dynamic soundscape that is both captivating and interactive.

COLOR.LOVE has held residencies at LA’s most prestigious clubs, including Exchange & Academy, where she shared the stage with renowned DJs like Benny Benassi, Nora En Pure, Kevin Knapp, and Don Diablo.

Her latest EP Something Different lands on Huxley’s Dumb Safari, two originals backed up with a killer remix from Daniel Orpi (elrow, Kaluki). With the release out now, here Color.Love picks out 10 classics she will never get sick of playing.

The Conversation (Will Monotone Remix) – Osheen, Roland Clark

This track features Roland Clarke’s iconic vocals making you feel all the feels on the dance floor, over top of a slow burning heavy hitting acid groove, so dope.

Keep It Hot – Josh Butler

I’m a sucker for Solid Grooves, and for all of Josh Butler’s music. He’s got all my favorite elements, a heavy kick & bass, a solid vocal and some weird synth hits.

Rendher & Richard Ulh – Talk of the Town

A few of my new favorite artists. Funky & minimal with a deep sub bass and some dope reggae vocals, I won’t be getting sick of this track any time soon.

Reach Out – Harry Romero

This one slays the dance floor every time. Harry Romero is a straight up beast in the studio, pushing the envelope and making top quality tracks every single attempt.

Moonlight – Beltran & Mandragora

Simple, effective, bangs. Beltran is dope.

Chitown – DJ Fronter

It’s so sad DJ Fronter is no longer with us, especially knowing that fentanyl played the role in his passing. I hope people can use this as a reminder to make wiser decisions. His music will inspire me forever, it’s all so good. This track is a big one, simple but complex.

All I Want (Technasia Remix) – Chus & Ceballos

This track might be the one I have played the most in my 20 years of DJ-ing. Amazing drums and percussion and a beautiful uplifting vocal.

Bad Speech – Blackchild

If you know me you know I like to laugh, and this song does that for me every time. It’s naughty, vulgar, and the drums are sick.

Pompy (Reelow East London Remix) – Jamie Coins

I will be playing this track alot, it’s got a dope bassline, old school hip hop vocals, and tight drums. Reelow’s new album is also one to check out.

Snogo – Marco Strous & Gabe

This track makes me come out from behind the DJ booth and dance with the crowd because I love it so much. It also hits pretty hard.

Something Different is out now on Dumb Safari
