Buena Park, California’s emerging sibling duo Pitch Black is making seismic waves in the electronic music scene with their electrifying debut single, “Metro,” released today under Aluna’s pioneering label, Noir Fever.

Pitch Black, comprised of the gifted brother-sister tandem, introduces a fresh dimension to Noir Fever, the brainchild of UK dance luminary Aluna. The label, dedicated to amplifying overlooked Black communities within electronic music globally, marks “Metro” as its third significant release. Preceded by Moonshine’s eclectic mixtape and a soul-stirring EP from Harlem’s AQUTIE, Pitch Black’s entry promises to elevate the label’s sonic repertoire with its distinct blend of bass house prowess.

“Metro” arrives amidst a crescendo of anticipation, fueled by Pitch Black’s viral TikTok presence and their knack for crafting pulsating beats that defy convention. Anchored by a brooding bassline and enigmatic violin interludes, the track propels listeners into an immersive auditory experience tailored for peak dancefloor moments.

Aluna, who discovered Pitch Black through the digital corridors of Instagram, underscores the label’s commitment to nurturing nascent talent: “We aren’t just about jumping on the train that’s already speeding ahead,” she affirms. “‘Metro’ is undeniably hard, and I’m so glad it’s releasing on Noir Fever.”
