Local legend and Desert Hearts elder Lee Reynolds has teamed up with his Tijuanan counterpart Machino for the latest installment of euphoria inducing dance music that Desert Hearts Records has been providing as of late. Hell bent on world domination, the Desert Hearts Crew has had the Midas touch, from their infamous non stop parties to their continuously expanding label catalog; everything they come in contact with has turned to gold.
“Moon Matrix” is a clear reflection of some serious studio time, giving birth to four original tracks built for the late night dance marathon. Techy vibes wrapped in psychedelic melodies and abstract basslines, the entire EP can almost be played as a continues mix, telling us the deep dark story of what goes on in the minds of its creators.
