Since Blond:ish’s Strange Attractions EP dropped last year, these ladies have taken the dance community by storm, playing at countless parties and collaborating with some of the best in the business. With the help of multi-instrumentalist Thomas Gandey, one of the two enchanted tracks “Voyeur” made quite the impact on the dancefloor, attracting the attention of multiple artists ready to remix.
Just out on Get Physical, this three track Remix EP fuses the haunted nature of the original track with the immersive tech, acid and disco grooves of present production. Alex Niggeman embraces the shadowy nature of “Voyeur,” including most of the sensual vocals given in the Accapella version. Jay Shepard and the late Martin Dawson took a saucy disco spin, utilizing tasteful vocal samples and resonant bass for the groovy and deep seekers out there.
With new music still emerging from great artist Martin Dawson, who passed away last November, this package of tracks makes for a truly special listen.
