This debut EP from Life and Death founder and co-conspirator Tennis is a testament to the hard working ethos and dedicated artistic force that is behind everything done in the Life and Death name. Deceptively simple is one of the hardest heights a song can aspire to and yet this ep sounds as if it was almost sliced ready-made from the fabric of reality, so deep and so clear is its message. A lovesong sung to an idea, a serenade to an intangible concept that comes out sounding as simple as a mantra but clearly contains much more than just a quick listen reveals. [Video] On February 24th 2012, Lovelife threw one of the sexiest shows to grace the land of San Diego at Analog Bar featuring the masters of the sex jam, Soul Clap. Capturing the night in video was one of Southern California’s premier photographer/ videographer/ producers, Jeff Corrigan. Coupled with Soul Clap’s track (‘Take It Slow feat Franceska’) from their forthcoming LP “EFUNK” (W+L Records), the energy and the incredibly sexy vibes of the night were able to be perfectly portrayed through this video. With a special “THANK YOU!”, we would like to recognize Soul Clap for providing us with their new track for the video and their amazing performance, Jeff Corrigan and team for their dedication to our vision, and especially to all the Lovers who made this night and all our Lovelife nights possible.
