As a co-founder of the Beautiful Vision DJ collective and podcast series, he’s found an outlet for his fresh and funky sounds that brings together a wide variety of genres such as jazz, disco and african funk. A frequent contributor to the heavily lauded, Kolour LTD record label out of Houston, TX… He returns to his home base for a new, 10″ vinyl release that marks the 8th volume for the imprints “LTD 10’s” series.
“Them + Us” wastes no time getting busy as loads of Ghanan flavored, poly-rhythms layer of a filtered guitar riff. Horn stabs, rhodes keyboards and vocal chants follow shortly after as a supremely sunny and irresistible groove unfolds. Another prime example of Funkyjaws doing what he does so well!
