San Francisco artist, Bengal, with the deep organic house music for our 48th WCP.

Upon exposure to a wide scope of musical traditions and origins ranging everywhere from Javanese Gamelan, Classical Piano, and to the traditional music of Africa, Ben Engelberg aka Bengal blends together these experiences into a new highly infectious brand of organic house that holds the raw energy that grips the dance floor. Formerly releasing as BNZO on such labels as VIVa Music and Trapez LTD, Ben’s highly compelling tech house grooves haven’t gone unnoticed, garnering attention from the likes of major players like Steve Lawler and Luciano. After a few years break from regular releases, Ben has honed his chops and now re-emerges as Bengal. His new project showcases a different side of his character and an enhanced level of musicality. He also has releases on Manjumasi and Desert Hearts Records.
