Brooklyn artist, Sam Jaspersohn, takes us deep in the sinkhole with his latest on Cenote Records out Feb 20th.

Sam Jaspersohn, known for his subtly crafted productions that evoke a range of emotions, delivers the Dirty Liver EP to Cenote Records for 2017. In addition, Jaspersohn has recently released a single on John Digweed’s Bedrock Records. The namesake track of his new EP features LA-based singer-songwriter Chris Lind contributing vocals. There’s a human element to Jasperson’s writing, which lends an organic roughness to his soundscapes, setting him apart from his contemporaries. Dirty Liver is a dark and angsty trip, painting a bleak picture, which teeters on the edge of a snarling acid synth-line, backed by Lind’s haunting vocals. Brooklyn’s Saqib and Toronto’s Lost Boy team up for an airy, cerebral remix adding needed contrast to the nefarious sounding original. Cenote artists Den of Snakes round it out with an upfront retake ready for peak hour.
