Russian duo, SCSI-9, releases groovy Trombone Groove EP on Artreform out on Dec 9th.

Artreform is one of the leading labels in Ukraine and now it celebrates the landmark of hitting 25 releases in real style. Ever since 2012 the label has lead from the front and next to take up the challenge is hot duo SCSI-9.

These Russian artists have taken their cosmic house sound to clubs all over the world and release on labels like Apparel Music amongst many more. They always make music with real emotion and filmic atmospheres and this time out offer three more of their brilliantly compelling cuts.

Trombone Groove is the titular track and is eight minutes of loose and wobbly, trippy and elastic deep house that is colourful and charming and shows the pair are expert crafters of sound. Hundreds of Fragments is a slower jam with curious synths rippling about above lazy house beats. Funky and loose, organic sounding and filled with a nicely intoxicating mood,

Last of all, Wrong Bells is a nice deep tune rippled with sonorous bell sounds that really get you into a trance. The drums are tight and pinging and drive things along as you get lots in a melodic cosmos. It rounds out a brilliant EP from both artist and label.
