Our very good homies, Thee Cool Cats, just won’t stop! This time they’ve teamed up with none other than the Parisian CUFF soldier, Clyde P. Their collab EP “Funk Gunz”, which is being released on house music legend, Tommie Sunshine’s record label, Brooklyn Fire, is exactly what the title states. Funk, dance floor weapons! All of these incredible producers are no amateurs, in fact, one could consider these guys veterans in the game, and it clearly shows with these two cuts. The title track on the EP is a cunning mix of heavy bass G-house paired with a classic Redman vocal sample, while “Shabba” brings in a thumping bass line paired with a killer vocal sample from none other than A$AP Rocky.
