Out this week on Damian Lazarus‘ Crosstown Rebels, Citizenn comes at us with his massive debut full length LP ‘Human Interface’. Named DJ Mag’s breakthrough artist of the year back in 2013, Citizenn has a unique style that quickly grabbed our attention. Regarding his new LP, he says that each track “is based on a particular theme of human emotion or technological / mechanical attribute, and its relation to the world of electronic music”. The blend of robotic textures and a futuristic atmosphere combined with a smattering of warm vocals and hypnotic grooves throughout the album really highlights that human-computer interaction.
