The Standard is one of our favorite party spots in Los Angeles and thanks to the wave of heat blazing through the West Coast this winter, we will be enjoying the bright, expansive sound of Berlin bred duo Super Flu on the rooftop this weekend! With on point decor, food and drinks, you cannot really go wrong on a lovely Sunday afternoon when you head downtown and up to the roof for some musical refreshment from local family friends and international favorites.
Starting off the day, our girl Masha will be setting the tone before Texas transplants Steffi Graff funk things up, coming off of a nice Winter tour from Austin, Texas to The Snowglobe Festival in Tahoe. San Diego favorite, desert dwelling tech-head Mikey Lion will be bringing the love next, setting up nicely for Super Flu to close out an amazing day!
A little about Super Flu…These German super groovers have produced bright, beautiful work that toured the world extensively in 2013. After establishing their own brand of delicate depth with Va Ga Va Ga in the Spring and their amazing contribution to Cascandy’s “Goodbye Darling”, their sound became a summer sensation, inspiring the completion of their fantastically fluid extended Halle Salle. This duo of the Monaberry family bring a potent spirit to their passionate projects and uplifting DJ sets, and we cannot wait for them to inspire us on Sunday!
