It is almost time to raise the curtain on Music On’s second season at the seminal club, that is, Amnesia. Each week Music On delivers a diverse range of DJs, carefully chosen from across the globe and given free reign to create their own interpretation of the sculpture that has been commissioned to coincide with the party. Opening week is cast from Iron, so we hand over to this weeks DJs to paint us a musical masterpiece. Tonight, June 14, Music On will feature label boss Marco Carola.

The opening party will set the standard for the entire season: 16 weeks of incredible music and atmosphere on the Island. Throughout the season, the club room will see Italian DJ duo Neverdogs lay down a solid foundation before Drumcode favourite Joseph Capriati takes over control and delivers an extended set that will encompass the full spectrum of his broad techno arsenal. Over in the terrace Marc Antona returns to play a pivotal role yet again and will no doubt pick up the intensity from exactly where he left it last year. He is joined by another pair of DJs hailing from Italy, in the form of the rising stars Re-UP and between them they are tasked with setting the stage for tonight’s main event. Of course that place on the bill is reserved for Marco Carola, as he steps into the spotlight for another marathon set of subtly crafted techno.

To actually bring the words “It’s all about the Music” to life and stay true to the mantra is  something very important to the Music On team. Music On is the living embodiment of this statement, a present day conduit for the ideologies of the past with the aim of shaping the future.
