[Release] While Europe seems to be the main hub for dance music, many other countries outside of this continent seemed to get overshadowed. Brazil is a country that has been releasing some serious dance music, but only in the last few years has been noticed for all their efforts. With so many artists and labels coming from this glorious country, it’s no surprise what all the fuss is about. One label that has been around for some time, TB Records(Tropical Beats) has been bringing us quality dance music for years now and we get their first various artists compilation Tropical Treasures Vol. 1. Featuring artists such as Fabo, Nobody Knows, Flow & Zeo, Bastard Love, Tiago Schnieder, Touchtalk, DJ Glen, Dashdot, and so many others, this release is sure to make some serious waves. With so many great tracks off this release, let’s focus on a few stand out tracks.
New comers Smutty & Funky combine to bring us the deep and delightful ‘I Just Wanna Love You.’ Tiago Schnieder and Jotace really deliver with their soulful, light-hearted jam ‘The Night Away.’ Two of my favorite artists, Nobody Knows & Bastard Love, once again shine with their dark and malicious groover ‘Thinking About You.’ Wonderfully silky and sultry, Tea Lyrics‘ remix of Fabo and Flow & Zeo’s song ‘Come On Girl’ is simply sublime.
TB Records really pulled out the big guns for this one, cause this record is fire. Every track off this release is to the up most quality, and there is something for everyone on this release. If you have yet to experience the Brazilian deep sound that is emerging, here is just a taste of all the greatness that is coming from this amazing country.
