Lula Circus – Passive Memories EP (Culprit)

Sand November 29, 2012 Deep House, Extended Play, New Release 1 Comment

[Release]  2012 has been a stellar year for Culprit.  With so many great releases already under their belt they recall Lula Circus for their first full EP, who a year ago first released ‘She Loves Me’ on their Above the City Compilation.  A wonderful record with two originals on it, this release also features amazing remixes from Alexis Raphael and  L.A.  local Urulu.

‘Passive Memories’ is a chill groover that just seems to build and build.  Funky, smooth, minimal, and  with light melodies, this track is nicely layered and very appealing.  ‘Theory Of Folds’ is a bold modern deep track with loads of synths and a dash of italo disco.  Alexis Raphael’s remix of “Theory Of Folds’ is a bass driven dance floor monster sure to get you moving.  Urulu’s takes a lighter approach to the track with his joyous  homage to 90′s deep house. Both these remixes are of the up most quality and each offer something different.

Another amazing release from Culprit, this label has no bounds on where they will go and what they will release.  All we can expect form them is that whatever they will release, you’re sure it will be good.
