[Release] The amount of reasons I love Cream Couture Records are quickly growing, and the amount of blissful beats on this album is one of the greatest sources for the utter adoration I have for this young label. Cream Couture Records was born in 2012, and although they are new to the scene, the music they put out shows maturity in their label. Self-proclaimed as “a label focused to develop a new generation of artists…what really defines us is our passion & love for music. Music comes from the soul. By analyzing the world in different ways, we share our thoughts and dreams with you through music, through Cream Couture Records.”
This various artists compilation beautifully highlights the range, depth, and devotion to emotive music Cream Couture professes to exude. If this album is any testament to the thoughts and dreams they hope to share with us through music, then we are more than elated to share in those thoughts and dreams with them. This music, this album, it’s like a story that takes you there. A stacked release with a whopping 32 tracks, Summer Couture is a beautiful biography to write the closing to the first chapter, the first summer, for this German label, and to cement their spot in underground.
To pick a favorite off this album is pretty impossible given the absurd amount of talent showcased on it, you really need to experience this gem fully to see which tracks hit you to your core. The album goes from chill out to indie dance/nu disco to deep and to the darkside.
My personal favorites include:
Chill Out Mood:
Danny De Goyl – Stardust Ft. John Juster (Jeff Gold’s Saxy Remix) – the saxaphone on this track is simply divine
Jo Beschil – Give Anything (Original Mix)
Adam Banks – Say Goodbye (Original Mix) – nu disco bliss
